DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

AFTER A BORED GIRL HANDED ME HER SECURITY BADGE AND TOLD ME TO GO NUTS, I MOST CERTAINLY DID.

The convention mayhem has been fun to watch and be a part of.
Here are the snapshots of the day.

So change is in the air. Is this different from the "Great Society" or "Its the economy stupid.?" I hope both, but the latter is much more bearable than the former. Joe Biden is supposed to level the playing field on foreign policy, but I am more concerned about his domestic roots than how he will handle the pentagon or State. He is a formidable senior senator, but he has a temper. If he is used as an attack dog, he might go over-board. The major concern I have with this ticket, is whether they will use government to allow change or whether they will use government to mandate change. But I am happy to see the ones I love so interested in the political process. The price of liberty is eternal vigilance.

A ha! All of you Republicans (which are all my family members)just wait till Thanksgiving when we have our own Chaffin Convention political debate. I think you will be surprised to learn a few things about me. For example: I'm not a Democrat. I'm sure as hell not a Republican...so we will have a chat later. Love you all.
